Dr. Jugenburg specializes in Microsurgical Reconstruction,
providing some of the latest and most advanced reconstructive options
to patients who have recently had or are about to undergo cancer surgery, or who have been severely injured in an accident.
Dr. Jugenburg has extensive experience in performing the most current flaps, such as DIEP, SIEA, TUG,
and ALT free flaps. These procedures have the benefit of
providing exceptional reconstruction, while significantly reducing the
traumatic impact on patients. For patients who do not wish or do
not qualify for a microsurgical reconstruction, Dr. Jugenburg is able
to offer non-microsurgical reconstructive procedures.
Due
to the complexity of these procedures, Dr. Jugenburg currently performs
them only at Toronto General Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital.
